CEDAR HILL CHAMBER TO HOST ANNUAL BUSINESS & AWARDS GALA

Chamber Leaders will Also Induct New Board Members and Recognize Honorees

CEDAR HILL, TX (Feb. 20, 2020) — Approximately 100 members will attend the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce’s 7th Annual Business and Awards Gala on Friday, March 20, 2020. This historic event will be held at the Blaine Stone Lodge at 5331 Weatherford Road at 6:00 p.m. The chamber will also induct new board members and recognize notable individuals and businesses of the year.

Attendees will be treated to live music from Joyce Spencer and a plated dinner program. There will be silent auction items, as well as a wine pull, raffle giveaways, and live auction challenge between the City Council, CHISD School Board, CH Fire Department, and CH Police. The group with the highest bid gets to donate a portion back to a local nonprofit of their choice.

“Since our founding in 1959, the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce has been promoting and advocating for business and community development,” said Randall Chase, the executive director of the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce. “We will celebrate our rich 60-year history and express our appreciation and gratitude for our business community. We will also prepare for an exciting future that includes advocating for even greater levels of business and community development.” Chase has served as executive director of the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce since 2017.

The Man & Woman of the Year, Fast Start Award, David Wilson- Distinguished Business of the Year, Green Business & Project of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year (new) and Civic Organization (new).

Steve Hendon, 2019 chair of the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce board of directors, will also pass the historic gavel to Tiffanie Plummer, chair for 2020 and owner of Crown Consulting Services.

We will also recognize the chamber’s Century members, businesses who are 100-plus-years old and who remain vital and valued members of the southwest west area business community
